Porridge 3 Ways

Porridge 3 Ways

Porridge can be hit or miss with some people, I personally was a ‘miss’ with it from having too much of it as a child but I have gotten back to liking it and there is no better and filling start to the day. Oats are really nutritious and can help with mental fatigue, insomnia and lower levels of cholesterol. There is no end to serving suggestions with porridge; here are 3 of my favourite.

Serves 1
50g oats
250ml of water

Method
Pour oats into saucepan, add the water.
Bring to boil over a medium heat, reduce the heat and cook for a further 2 mins stirring occasionally to stop it catching. (If it is looking too thick add a little more water)
